thankful for the endless "gifts" ...
146. rearranging the living/dining room ...it's like a breathe of fresh air
147. my husband who says "Let's go out to dinner" when I've gone a little stir crazy after the aforementioned rearranging
148. my husband who didn't get mad when I broke a piece of furniture...he was predictably gracious about it
149. SNOW DAY! It's a delicious feeling. Joey the cat loved my coming back to bed.
150. bacon frying on a Saturday morning
151. seeing good friends when it's been way too long
152. progressive fast food dinner (you should try it: ours consisted of Sonic for drinks, Wendy's for salads, Arby's for the appetizer-mozzerella sticks, and Smashbox for hamburgers)
153. the date jar my sister made us for Christmas a year ago where we got the idea for #152.
154. Jesus changing me from the inside out
155. playing a new board game
156. birthday cards (you know this is one of my very favorite things!)
157. waking up and hearing my husband on the phone in the other room talking to a good friend
158. a new lightbulb and what a difference it makes!
159. healing and progressing-it's been 4 weeks today since my mom's knee replacement surgery and she's doing great! Made so much progress this past week in physical therapy and her range of motion.
160. finding the perfect birthday gift.
161. a free lunch-who says there's no such thing?
162. someone else shoveling your stairs and your sidewalk
163. candlewax on the floor which, in a round-about way reminds me of my need for Him (a little like sin-can't get it out no matter how hard I try)
164. working out with my good friend
165. how looking at pictures of days gone by lifts my spirits
166. putting seasonal decorations away and decorating more simply for the new season
167. fuzzy blankets
168. fresh basil and dill-love the smell! (the taste is not bad either)
169. making eggs for my husband (quite the accomplishment for me)
